THE EVENT ENDS.
THE MATERIALS GO ON.

WHY WE’RE BUILDING

An event lasts a few days.
Its materials can go further.

Boards, props, pots and sorted cardboard often remain after a fest or cleanup. Organisers need the space cleared. Clubs, makers and collectors may need those same materials. Reclaim gives them a place to find each other and arrange a handover.

Still useful. Still left behind.

The next person who needs it should know it is available.

THE GAP

WHAT GETS A NEXT USE

The useful things left in the pile.

Start with what you can describe, count and hand over. A clear listing helps the next person decide before they make the trip.

01 / BUILD AGAIN

Boards & offcuts

Plywood, timber and reusable panels. Include dimensions, quantity and any damage.

02 / USE AGAIN

Props & decor

Stage pieces, display stands and pots. Show their condition and what comes with them.

03 / SORT FOR COLLECTION

Cardboard & packaging

Separated batches for local collectors. State the material, approximate weight and collection instructions.

04 / MAKE THE PICKUP CLEAR

A locality. A pickup plan.

Free or priced, every batch needs a clear meeting point and someone ready to collect it.

RECLAIM / THE HANDOVER FLOWPROTOTYPE IN DEVELOPMENT

Meet Reclaim.
From leftovers to handovers.

List materials for free or at an asking price. A photo helps draft the listings; the organiser checks each one. A buyer sends a request, the organiser accepts, and they arrange collection directly. The seller marks the handover complete; both keep the record.

WHERE WE’RE STARTING

From an event
to the next project.

FOR REUSE

Boards become a stage.

A student club finds usable plywood from a fest and requests it for its next production.

FOR COLLECTION

Cardboard finds a collector.

A local collector finds sorted cardboard, agrees on pickup and collects the batch.

Example journeys, from an available batch to a confirmed pickup.

BEFORE THE HANDOVER

A few practical details.

Less guessing. Fewer wasted trips.

Who is Reclaim for?

Event organisers and student clubs with leftover materials, and clubs, makers or local collectors looking for them. You can offer a batch or request one you need.

Do I have to give materials away?

No. A listing can be free or priced. Any payment is agreed directly between the two people, outside Reclaim.

How does collection work?

The listing shows the locality and collection details. Send a request first; once the organiser accepts, contact details are shared so you can arrange pickup or agree on delivery directly.

What does a completed deal mean?

The seller marks the handover complete. Both people keep a material transfer. It does not verify recycling or measure avoided emissions; any material weight estimate is labelled as an estimate.

Does a photo publish a listing automatically?

No. Snap-to-List is planned to suggest draft items from a photo. The organiser checks the material, condition, quantity and offer before publishing, or creates the listing manually.

Left after your event?
